Four days into May and I’m still going strong with the #dosomething everyday in May challenge:
May 1 – Ran for 20 min – I wanted to go for a longer run but it started pouring. I’m ok with rain, I’m not made out of sugar and won’t melt, but the kids were whining about it (Sierra was riding her bike and Brooke was in the single jogging stroller), so I cut our run short.
May 2 – Met my friend at the gym at 6am and did a full-body weight blast.
May 3 – Went to the gym and did a 6am BodyPump class – It was my first time at bodypump so I wasn’t sure what to expect and was guessing at how much weight to do in each cycle. I had a blast and will definitely be making that class a fitness priority! (READ: I’m sore today and sore is good!)
May 4 – Went on a 4.8k run with the kids – my gym friend’s daughter is sick (appendix? gallbladder? Please pray for her), so I rolled over and went back to sleep instead of heading to the gym. I totally should have just gotten up and ran or did weights because the kids only have a short attention span for running with mommy, and Sierra can only ride her bike for a short while. The two older gals both had to pee, and they complained it was too cold to squat, so we cut our 6k run short 🙁
Tomorrow I’m going to BodyPump again – it was REALLY fun!
