It’s been a long, long 10 weeks since I last worked out. Sure I’ve gone for walks, lots of them truthfully, but I haven’t really gotten my sweat on since my last boot camp fitness class – that was 10 weeks ago
My family is suffering too.
I blew up on my hubby last weekend – totally lost it on him. Normally it doesn’t bother me that he doesn’t help out much with housework. However, when I haven’t worked out in a long time, little things become BIG things.
Exercise is like a magic happy pill for me.
I lost it on my mom today – yelling at my hubby last weekend didn’t get any results (or relieve any stress), so I thought I’d start in on my mom. Actually, she just happened to call while I was angry & vacuuming. Not a very good combination (sorry mom).
I need to blow off some steam, but not by yelling & screaming at people – it’s not productive. But how? What should I do? I have 4.5 more weeks until I get the all clear from my midwives so I can do my Learn-to-Run 5K program.
My friend Rosalinda had some great advice for me regarding the housework:
