Friday morning I got up early to run. (If you’re a regular reader here then you’re probably choking on your water laughing at that).
Yes. I really did get up at
the ass crack of dawn 5:45 am and went out for a run.
And I have a confession…
I liked it.
I liked it so much that writing this post is keeping me up too late because I want to do it again tomorrow morning. It was seriously awesome! It was great having the quiet morning to myself. I woke up at 5:45 and snuck downstairs to enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee while reading facebook posts, then I headed out for my run. The roads were QUIET, and I really liked that I didn’t see any other people out, save for the odd person walking their dog. (They say that people with dogs get more exercise than those without).
I also ran WAY faster normal:
Pace is in min/km, remember, I’m Canadian, eh? 😉
On my 9:30 am run from today, my wheels fell off after the third 3km. Were my legs tired? Was it because of what I ate? Or was it simply because it wasn’t first thing in the morning? I’m not really sure… So I’ll be up at the
ass crack of dawn 5:45 am tomorrow to test out my theory. (That’s if I can manage to haul my butt outta bed – any tips on that one folks?)
