(I’m guessing I’m about 2 yrs old – perhaps this picture was taken while my Oma was babysitting me when my mom gave birth to my brother?)

Today I wore a teal tank top in honor of her. Oma, my mother’s mom, lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer in January 1983. A mommy to SEVEN children, she had a heart of gold and LOVED kids – myself included. Unfortunately I was very young when she first got sick (7 yrs), so I didn’t have very much time to get to know her well.
