If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I’ve been lucky enough to be able to access 6 full episode media screeners of the Netflix exclusive spin-off of the 80’s and 90’s classic TV show Full House called FULLER HOUSE. The day I got access I could barely wait to get home from work to go watch it. The hours seemed like they would never pass by because I’ve been anxiously waiting for this spin off for months!! I remember watching Full House for hours as a kid and have enjoyed binge watching the old episodes with my girls on Netflix for months now.
Without giving too much away, Fuller House is a continuation of Full House. DJ is now a widow with 3 young boys, and she shares her childhood home with her sister Stephanie, and best friend Kimmy Gibbler to raise her children. I have to say it was totally worth the 20 year wait for Fuller House. My daughters and I binge watched all 6 episodes that we had access to, and here’s why you should binge watch it when it’s released on February 26th too:
4 Reasons to Binge Watch Fuller House on Netflix
- It’s inspiring.
The actors we grew up watching on Full House are all back save for the Olsen twins who played Michelle. Every single one of those actors have aged well. Lori Loughlin (Becky) and Candace Cameron-Bure (DJ Tanner) are especially smoking HOT! Candace has even written a book about her healthy lifestyle and how she’s managed to stay so fit called: Reshaping it All: Motivation for Physical and Spiritual Fitness. Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) is a runner and looks great along with Jodi Sweetin who lost 45lbs working out with her personal trainer Joshua. And John Stamos (Uncle Jesse)? Hubba hubba, wow he’s beautiful!! While watching I was impressed with how great they all look and was inspired to keep lifting.
See how gorgeous Lori Loughlin (Becky) STILL is:
And how amazing Candace Cameron-Bure looks now that she’s all grown up:
- It’s a great show for bonding with your kids.
My daughters have been binge watching Full House on Netflix for a few months now. Fuller House is all new, the issues are more modern but it has the same heartfelt style to that we loved in the 90’s. I love the wholesome family sitcom feel it has and I definitely enjoyed cuddling up on the couch with my daughters to watch Fuller House with them. It’s nice to have a show we can ALL enjoy together. Fuller House is a breath of fresh air compared to the constant putdowns, backtalking etc on other pre-teen shows.
- It’ll make you feel like a kid again.
It’s really nice to be reminded of being a child – when life was simpler and more care-free. Seeing Kimmy Gibbler doing her crazy (awkward) dances reminded me that although I’m an adult now, deep inside I will always be the same kid inside as I was 21 years ago.
- John Stamos…Have MERCY!
Rumour has it the reunion was John’s idea. A picture is worth 1000 words:
