This is my Mamavation post for Monday, March 14, 2011.
How was your week last week? Did your drink your water? Get your beauty sleep? And eat your 7-8 servings of fruits and veggies? (Remember: fruit and veggies are chock full of fiber!).
Last week I was BUSY!!! I feel like I barely sat down! Amber is in that frustrating baby stage where she notices when I leave the room and wants me there CONSTANTLY! She also notices when I pay attention to her sisters, or if I sneak away to the computer – which is why I haven’t been tweeting much lately. I wear Amber around the house a lot in my wrap… all 15 lbs of her!!
Overall I did well, however my eating sucked – We made a cake for my hubby just because and I think I ate 3/4 of it! Ooops! At least I was VERY active!
BRAG – I got the WHOLE family moving on Saturday by suggesting we go BOWLING! Everyone went – kids, hubby, MY PARENTS, a friend and her kids – it was so FUN!
So here’s a summary of what I accomplished:
Monday: Did 45 min of a Nike Training Club Workout
Tuesday: Rest – took Amber to the Dr’s for her 4 mos shots and well baby check (She’s doing awesome and has *almost* doubled her birth weight already!)
Wednesday: Cleaned – sorted and prepared 7 bags of old clothes to donate:
Thursday: Mommy/Baby Bootcamp class
Friday: Did 45 min of a Nike Training Club Workout
Saturday: Ran 6.85k, then went bowling with the family
Sunday: Ran 3.38k – Sierra rode her bike and I pushed Amber in the jogger
Question: What time of day works best for you to be active? How do you make sure you stick to those planned workouts?
I workout everyday around 10 am – I find this is when the kids start fighting and are ready to get up and MOVE! Last week I had them do the Nike Training Club workout with me twice, and brought them along for my run. If I DON`T work out and include the kids, then I spend a lot of my morning yelling at the girls, then I feel guilty because I know it’s my fault that they’re bored and fighting. Working out has become a necessity and a part of our daily routine.
