Unfortunately yesterday I had excuses. Yes – after all of my talk about how I’m going to do the 30 Day Shred, I dropped the bomb and didn’t do the video. Thankfully my shredding buddies did – I’m so proud of them! Aren’t they awesome?!
But me – ahhhhh!!!! I didn’t workout!
I could tell you all about how Baby Amber has decided that the only place she likes to sleep is in the wrap or on top of me.
Or I could tell you all about how I screwed up the re-design of my other blog twice and had to fix it.
Or I could tell you all about how I went out to re-new the registration of my SUV, stood in line with a crying baby for 30 min only to find out that they can’t re-new the registration because my old SUV is due for an emissions test…
But those, my friends, are excuses. And as I often say, you can have fitness or excuses, but not both.
BUT I LEARNED FROM THEM!
I learned that:
- I need to workout first thing in the morning while all of my kids are happy.
- I’m not allowed to turn on the computer until I’ve worked out – the computer can be a reward.
- I need to lay out my workout clothes and put them on as soon as I get up – even before I have my coffee, so that I’ll feel energized and motivated.
So last night I SLEPT in my yoga pants… and I did the Shred this morning while my daughters ate breakfast (and Baby Amber was still asleep in her Moses Basket).
Yesterday I had excuses… Today I have FITNESS!!! – What will YOU have today?
