Yes – today is my birthday. My 38th birthday to be exact (also known as my tenth annual 29th birthday), and truthfully, other than when I first wake up, I don’t feel any older than when I was 29.
Despite having three kids since then, I run just as fast as I did when I was 29. (Or slow, depending on how you measure speed). It blows my mind that I can still set new PR’s, even though I’m getting really close to *cough* 40.
Birthdays can only be celebrated in one way… by pampering yourself, right?
My second toenail on my left foot has fallen off and it’s taken my pedicure off with it:
Ahhhhhh good ol’ runners problems. My feet are in DESPERATE need of some summer/birthdayTLC. This is why, in addition to going for my own spa pedicure from a spa I found through SpaFinder this coming weekend..
I am also giving away a $50 SpaFinder giftcard to one of my lucky readers!
What is SpaFinder?
SpaFinder teams up with reputable spas around the world, and sells giftcards that can be used at ANY of the spas they have teamed up with. I have bought SpaFinder giftcards for my mom and Mother-in-law in the past because they can use them at any spa near them. What appeals to me, doesn’t necessarily appeal to them, so with a SpaFinder giftcard they can visit the SpaFinder website, find a spa, and book an appointment at a spa that’s located near them, and PERFECT for them too. If spas weren’t their thing, they could even use their cards to book a Yoga session, or a massage. Mmmmm massages! How I love me some massage!
I love you guys!
Having you here to support me everyday with your tweets, comments, facebook messages etc, keeps me going, and I want to celebrate my birthday by giving cards to all of you! Unfortunately I can’t afford a SpaFinder giftcard for each and every one of you, so instead I’m going to have to pick one random winner through Rafflecopter.
Below is the rafflecopter entry form for this awesome giveaway:
Disclosure: I was contacted by SpaFinder to host a giveaway – the timing was up to me, and I was not compensated at all for this post.
