This is my Mamavation post for Monday, January 17, 2011.
How was your week last week? Did your drink your water? Get your beauty sleep? And eat your 7-8 servings of fruits and veggies? (Remember: fruit and veggies are chock full of fiber!).
Last week, I continued my battle with Scarlet Fever, which means besides looking after 3 adorable little people I didn’t do much exercise. Sometimes ya gotta just listen to your body and rest, rest, rest. By Thursday I was feeling better and going crazy from not exercising, so I went to my Mommy/Baby Bootcamp class – boy was it ever a workout! I had fun though – there’s nothing like a good sweat to make you feel ALIVE!
Friday I had all of the kids home with me. I felt bad for not having the energy to do much with them except for crafts (did you know I’m an avid scrapbooker?). So I took the kids sledding (Amber spent 30 min of it sleeping in the van – then the next 30 min in my wrap). It wasn’t much of a workout for me because I had Amber with me, but that’s ok because the girls got some much needed exercise:
This coming week I’m going to ease back into things. I have a lot of exercise PLANNED but that means I’ll probably only do 60% of it, and I’ll be doing the lower impact version of things with lots of rest breaks and water breaks. Here’s my “plan”:
MONDAY – p90X Chest & Back, 3K Walk/Run
TUESDAY – Mommy/Baby Bootcamp
WEDNESDAY – P90X Yoga, 3K Walk/Run
THURSDAY – Mommy/Baby Bootcamp
FRIDAY – P90X Arms?, 3K Walk/Run
SATURDAY – Rest
SUNDAY – P90X Ply0
Meals – I have planned them AND I’ve already gone grocery shopping so I have to stick to my plan this week! Yay!
